Junk food is a food containing a large number of calorie from sugar or fat with a small number of fiber, protein, vitamins or minerals. Food that contains less amount of nutrients. Junk food is also called fast food. Eating fast food may increase your bad cholesterol level and lower your good cholesterol level.
Is junk food is good or bad?
It is not a healthy diet for us. Eating fast food is very delicious but have the more chronic disease. Eating junk food on the daily base may affect our body, like obesity, diabetes, depression, nutrient deficiency, heart disease. It gained fame because they not only tasted great but were also low in cost than the healthier foods and easily accessible to us.

Vegetables, whole grains products include low calories than the junk foods. It contains a large number of calories which can cause obesity and contains bad cholesterol which can cause weight gain. High level of fat and sodium in it can cause high blood pressure. High levels of dietary fat lead to poor cognitive performance.
- Nutritious deficiency
Highly processed foods contain little fiber and more cholesterol. Junk foods can satisfy your hunger but it provides little nutrients required for our body. continuous depend on it may lead to the poor nutrients foods. It may increase deficiency of healthy nutrients.
- Heart problem
Your body needs some fat for health, but it provides more fat that harms our health processed fat is present in the baked product. Processed foods have a high concentration of salt or sodium. A large amount of sodium or salt can cause risk of heart problem due to high blood pressure. The high levels of fat and sodium in junk food and fast food can cause high blood pressure or hypertension.
- Diabetes problem
It may increase the level of sugar in the body. These sugars have a problem because they add calories to the foods can lead to diabetes. it doesn’t contain the protein or complex carbohydrates that your body needs to maintain a consistent blood sugar level. Blood sugar level drop with eating it.
Eating junk food can make you feel really uncomfortable. It can lower the energy levels that you lack interest in the exercise you need to burn extra calories.
People should not consume junk food beyond limits as this can cause a very bad effect on the health. You must eat healthy food or vegetables.
